Resources

Resources

SiteLite comes with 6 gifs and 1 stylesheet. These resources are necessary to realise the layout. They are described shortly below.

pixel.gif

This is a transparent 1x1 gif that is used to pad space where table spacing and table padding is not sufficiently accurate or proper. This is not an ideal method, but it is used as long as stylesheets remain an uncertain business.

bullet.gif

This is a 3x5 gif that is used to mark the selected page in the table of contents in left column.

up.gif

This is a simple up-arrow that is used as a link to top of page. It is inserted by SiteLite for the tag TOTOP.

navigare.gif

This is a previous-home-next cluster of arrows with matching links. The image is 50 x 30 pixels, and is corresponding to an imagemap in the relevant templates.

logo.gif

This is the logo that appears in the top-left corner of pages. You will certainly want to change this image to match your own logo. The image is 125 x 30 pixels.

Replaces nf_logo.gif and f_logo.gif in version 1.0.

left_bg.gif

This is 2500 x 20 pixels. Which means it is wide enough. The 145 x 20 leftmost pixels has the color we want in the left bar on the page.

Replaces nf_left_bg.gif in version 1.0.

def.css

This is a cascading stylesheet that describes any fmatting you expect the browsers to react intelligent on. The version distributed with SiteLite define paragraphs, headings, lists etc.
