The purpose is to produce footnotes. It is based on the existence of span-tags with class="fn" in the content of the module where this PI is encountered.

The parameters are:

form (optional)

Possible values ar:
normal: normal footnote strategy, this is default
show: the footnote text will be integrated in the running text, enclosed i paranthesis. No footnotes
remove: the footnotes will be removed from the text. No footnotes
